Intent to Register - Engineering

Are you planning to return to Western in September, 2023? If so, you must submit an INTENT TO REGISTER so that you will have access to the web registration system during the summer months to register for Fall/Winter courses. If you don't submit an Intent to Register, you will not have access to the web registration system.

Looking for more information on upper-year programs? Visit the ITR program information page for program descriptions and presentations.

There are two different methods of submitting an Intent to Register:

1. Online Intent to Register

OR

2. Intent to Register through your Academic Counsellor

  • New concurrent degree students
Students who want to enroll in a concurrent degree must make an appointment with their Academic Counsellor to discuss the Intent to Register process.  Consultation with the other faculty will be required.

  • Withdrawing from concurrent degrees
Students in concurrent degrees who no longer want to pursue both degree programs must make an appointment with their Academic Counsellor to discuss the Intent to Register process to remove the second degree.

  • Students wishing to change their program
Students who wish to change programs within Engineering must make an appointment with their Academic Counsellor to discuss the Intent to Register process.  Consultation with the department will take place for approval and to discuss courses and selection moving forward.

  • Students currently in HBA1
Students have already completed an “application for the combined program” from Ivey.  No further action is required.

  • Students wishing to transfer to Engineering
Students who wish to transfer to Enginering must make an appointment ("Prospective Student Inquiries") or email futurewe@uwo.ca to do their Intent to Register.  A second choice (Department or Faculty) must be given if not admitted to Engineering.
