ENGSquad: Just for Girls Mentorship Program

A mentorship program that not only pairs female high school students, including all that identify as female, with women studying engineering at Western University, but also provides awesome activities for these mentors and mentees to see and learn about engineering. We are unsure if we can offer our typical overnight weekend in May that we have done in the past, but will keep participants updated if this becomes an option.

How does it work?

ENGSquad matches female high school students in Grades 9-12 with mentors who are female undergraduate engineering students at Western University. Participants are matched to mentors based on registration forms that are submitted.

Mentorship groups will correspond regularly to discuss everything from life as a university student, transitioning to university to the vital role of women in engineering and gender stereotypes. Session topics and dates can be found HERE.

How do I get involved?

I am a female Grade 9-12 high school student.
